Raiden gets a trailer for Injustice 2 with a shocking alternate skin
Kevin Hart is teaming up with Pinxter Digital to relaunch Gold Ambush with Kevin Hart. It’s pretty much a re-skin of a game that already launched earlier this year.
So your mobile game didn’t turn out to be the next Angry Birds. What’s a mobile company to do next? Go back to the drawing board and try to strike gold once more? Pay for more marketing to get your game’s name out there amid the sea of millions of games fighting for attention on the App Store? For the creators of Gold Ambush All Stars, one answer is “have Kevin Hart’s kid enjoy it.”
Kevin Hart, in partnership with StandUp Digital (a “celebrity mobile entertainment powerhouse” debuting with this title) and Pinxter Digital, will help to re-launch the mobile title Gold Ambush All Stars as Gold Ambush with Kevin Hart. The free-to-start game with microtransactions is available now on the App Store.
The game combines city-building strategy elements, maze-running gameplay and celebrity brand endorsements for the ultimate name-brand recognition mobile marketing strategy. You can also lay traps and raid cities for resources. You can check out more of the gameplay in action in the promotional video below, with Kevin Hart explaining why you should give him your mobile gold.
“C’mon, now. Don’t be cheap,” Kevin says as he urges his fans to pay real money for in-game special boosts. Thanks to the power of celebrity, you too can be incentivized to pay for a game that’s relaunching a month after its initial release.
